1. Order Notice Requirements:

   • Cake orders require a minimum notice of 14 days before the desired pickup or delivery date.

   • Cupcake and Sweet Treats orders require a minimum notice of 7 days before the desired pickup or delivery date.
      

2. Order Confirmation and Payments:

   • To confirm your order date, full payment is required at the time of order placement.
      

3. Cancellation Policy:

   • Full refunds are allowed for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the scheduled order collection date.

   • Cancellations made within 5 days prior to the scheduled order collection date will result in a forfeiture of 50% of the total amount paid.
      

4. Cake Self-Collection:

   • Once the cake, cupcakes, or sweet treats have been collected, they are no longer the responsibility of Sweet Affairs Cakes and Cupcakes.

   • Customers must take due care when transporting the goods to the venue. Avoid speeding and slamming hard on the brakes to prevent damage to the product.

   • It is recommended to transport the products in an air-conditioned vehicle or place them in a larger cooler or 12v fridge.
      

5. Cupcake Stand Hire Terms and Conditions:

   • A $100.00 deposit is required for the cupcake stand and will be included in your invoice.

   • Deposits will be refunded upon the return of the stand on the return due date in the original condition in which it was received.

   • Broken or damaged returns will result in a 100% loss of the deposit.

   • Late returns will be penalized $50.00 for the first week (day 1-7) and an additional $25.00 per week overdue until its return, or the deposit results in a 100% loss. No exceptions.
      

6. Liability and Responsibility:

   • Sweet Affairs Cakes and Cupcakes shall not be held responsible for any damage or issues arising after the product has been collected or delivered to the customer.
      

7. Order Changes:

   • Any changes to the order (including but not limited to flavour, design, size, and pickup/delivery time) must be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery time.
      

8. Allergies and Special Requirements:

   • We make efforts to accommodate various dietary needs and allergies but cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. Our products may contain traces of nuts, dairy, gluten, or other allergens.
      

9. Modification of Terms and Conditions:

   • Sweet Affairs Cakes and Cupcakes reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
